Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our wool footwear

What materials are Glerups made from?

Glerups are crafted from 100% pure, natural wool from Merino and Gotland sheep, felted for durability and comfort.

Can I wear Glerups without socks?

Yes, our wool is breathable and moisture-wicking, making them ideal for barefoot wear while keeping your feet dry and warm.

How do I clean my Glerups?

Wool is naturally self-cleaning. However, you can vacuum them to remove dust or spot clean gently with a damp cloth and mild wool detergent.

Do the slippers stretch over time?

Glerups will mold to the shape of your feet after a few days of wear, providing a custom fit. They do not significantly stretch in length.

What is the difference between the rubber and leather soles?

Leather soles are traditional for indoor use on carpets and wood, while our natural rubber soles provide extra grip and can be worn for brief outdoor trips.

Why are my Glerups shedding?

Shedding is normal for high-quality felted wool during the first few weeks. Simply remove the excess fibers and it will stop as the wool settles.
